NoSQL Storage for your Mobile Apps

If you have ever built or are thinking of building a mobile app with offline data storage capabilities, you have probably realized that it’s a daunting task. There are many challenges and this talk will begin by examining some of the main requirements of an offline storage solution. This talk will include a discussion of NoSQL technologies focussing on the JSON Document Style.

Priya Rajagopal will introduce you to Couchbase Mobile – an open source, JSON Document Data store for your mobile platforms. I will provide you with an overview of the architecture and with examples (in swift, Java and c#) that demonstrate the CRUD and Query API for managing your data store.

At the end of the talk, you will walk away with a good idea of the benefits of NoSQL as a embedded store. Anyone building a mobile app with local storage needs will benefit from this talk.
