Practical training for developers and enginerds

Ethan Brooks

North American Community Lead Toptal

Ethan Brooks wants to live in a world where experts are properly rewarded for their expertise, and entrepreneurship — taking a chance on yourself — feels like a winning bet. As the North American Community Lead at Toptal, his job is to work with top-notch freelance developers, designers, and other expert agile talent, building programs that help them pursue their goals both inside and outside of the company.

Prior to Toptal, he spent half a decade freelancing as a front-end developer financing his travel interests, and once spent three months building websites while living out of the back of a truck in the jungles of the Pacific.

While freelancing, he developed the D.A.M.N. Goal Framework as a tongue-in-cheek way of teaching clients how to refine their thinking and improve their chances of success when setting project goals. It has since gone on to be a highly rated Udemy Course, with more than fifteen-hundred students all over the world.
